Description

Prior to taking this course, you should be familiar with PSpice, or take the PSpice Intro course.

This course provides an in-depth coverage of PSpice and shows a large part of the opportunities you get with PSpice. You will learn to simulate and analyze both analogue and digital circuits, and the course also teaches you how to use different analysis types, such as Monte Carlo, Worst Case and Fourier analysis. Additionally, you will learn to use the Model Editor to create and edit models for your simulations.

Agenda

  • Introduction
  • Using PSpice modeller
  • Measurements and nodes
  • Designing a subcircuit in a model
  • Monte Carlo and Worst-Case analysis
  • Fourier analysis
  • ABM – Analog Behavioural Modeling
  • Digital models
  • Digital Worst-Case
  • Mixed-mode simulation
  • Core Models

Learning objectives

After completing the course, the user will be able to:

  • Create measurements
  • Use and edit PSpice models
  • Use Monte Carlo analyses
  • Use Worst-Case analyses
  • Use Fourier analyses
